    I think this is Brass , a box possible lockable looks like you could put padlock on each side maybe no 5 stamped on it, 11cms by 9 cms any help would be appreciated, Thank you

      I believe these were used by a dental lab to make dentures -- a denture flask.

      Right, but the correct term for the piece is a denture flask. A crown flask is usually smaller and round.
