This radio looks its age but it is in its original state. No restorations done. I'm not certain if it works and am concerned something may happen to it if I power it up. Would hate it if it got ruined that way. My questions are if anyone has any insight that could place a value on this. Can powering it up cause damage that makes it worthless? My email is m.stidd@yahoo.com

Only someone experienced with testing and repairing tube equipment should attempt to power it up slowly with a variac -- only after confirming that the components are as per specs. A hot chassis with lethal voltages means one must know what they are doing inside the unit.

Thanks for the info TubeAmp. You verified exactly what I was told and now the search begins to find such a person. Do you have any insight of what this 1932 may be worth? I know there were only 15000 made and it sold for $89.50.

The condition it's in most likely would mean a restoration for love and not money.
