1873 to 1890 dated Levi Strauss & Co. button from Miner's overalls.

I found this button on the ground sitting on top of the rocks. It had just snowed, and as the snow melted the rocks got shiny, and made the button stand out against the ground. I found this near an old mining town in California near Mono Lake. From what I can discern the button dates back to 1873 to 1890, and was a popular button on overalls with a special pocket for mining tools.
I'm not sure what to do with it. Ebay perhaps?
