I purchased this item for my collection of small antiques which was advertised as silver. I have been unable to identify the markings to confirm if it is silver, or just silver plated. The piece was advertised as German and marked "800" but it looks more like 80D to me. Can anyone help? Thank you very much.
I'd say it's German silver.
