If you look at the button I posted about 6-8 mos. ago, I had not trouble researching the regiment & date of manufacture. Maybe I dropped some hints about how I did my research. Of course, I had the # of the regiment & that made it easy to get into. From their it wasn't hard to get the info on the button from 1808-1812 or something like that. I just followed the yellow brick road & thru the looking glass, right into the world of military buttons. I suggest, since you have no regimental #, I suggest you take what hints you might find on my button & research it & you will find all the info on military button makers. It is also English. Was an easy search & a lot of collectors.
