Ok.. coworker's friend who is deceased left this doll to her..

Coworker brought this doll to me to help ID when it may have been made.. her friend was born in the early 1940's .. Doll has a porcelain head with yarn glued on, porcelain forearms, and porcelain brown boots.. the main body appears to be clothesline rope and the middle of the doll is wrapped with foam and tied in with tape.. Looks homemade to me or maybe from a kit???? dress is simple with snaps in back .. Did they have kits in the 40's for this? or is this likely homemade?

Photo to small . Need a close up of face and also part of body if possible . She is much later than 40's .

Hi, manikin will know for sure, but I think it looks like it is replicating a "dollhouse doll," but mani will know more for sure
