Out of the dozen or so suitcases and trunks I've acquired over the past couple of years this one is my absolute favourite. I'm not really sure why but I just find it so appealing. When I first saw it I thought it was leather but it was light as a feather; that's when I realized it was made out of cardboard (I think)!
The stains and discolouring and shape and size and simplicity are irresistible. I also got it for "free" when I purchased it as part of a lot of others from the same seller. Maybe that's why... it's like the little kitten with the floppy ear and the crooked tail that nobody else wanted that makes it so vulnerable you want to take care of it.
It also doesn't smell on the inside like the others do, so it's allowed in the house!
