This phone has been part of my life for 44yrs, came from Alpena Mich. condenser is marked may 4th 1920, about every 2 or 3 years I open it,smell it and crank the handle while I hold on to the battery hook up wires.

Something really amazing about the look of these old phones.
We have one but it is missing the insides. The crank, handle, bells and mouthpeice are intact and embossed with Kelogg S&S 1908. The wooden box has and S cutout. We bought it for 4 bucks, what a score.
Just bought a 1904 Kellogg WallPhone at a flee market.Thing is all original and in near mint to mint condition. Tag on inside of door reads;Ord No.16485, Cat No 5,Resistance of ringer 1600 omhs,Voltage on open circuit 80,Tested by inspector 30,Date 12/21/1904. Great great find!!! Gift for mom and dad.........but would look really good on my living room wall.....Hmmmmm?
I bought a Kellogg oak wall phone. It looks like it has all it's part but it won't ring when we turn the crank, any ideas?
