I acquired this in a trunk I purchased at an auction. It appears vintage. The basket is unusual in that its mostly a pedestal with the area to carry items being 3 inches deep by 9.25 inches wide. The total height with lid on is about 17 inches. The base measures 12 inches wide. Now, for the real unusual aspect there is a bell inside the nob handle on the lid. Any help with identifying this beautiful basket is greatly appreciated.
This is really pretty and looks well made too. I'm guessing it's newer but not my area at all...hopefully someone can give you a hand, stick around.
