I recently found this plate while cleaning out my mother's house. I have not been able to locate any information about it online.
The front of the plate has a picture of the Confederate Monument in Orangeburg, SC. The back of the plate indicates that it was made in Germany for S.G. Parler, who appears to have been an Orangeburg businessman in the early 20th century.
I think the plate is kind of cool, and I am surprised there are none online. Has anyone ever seen this plate before?
No idea about the plate, but the monument was erected in 1893.
