Tin? pressed plate and gravy boat.

Hi all,
Not sure about these items, the pressed plate has decorations on the inside and measures 185mm square and 20mm deep. Fairly light.
The gravy boat measures approx 90mm diameter and has a bit of weitht in it. These were owned by my parents and I think came from England.
Any advise on what metal they are and the history about them would be appreciated. That's all I can offer as a description. Thank you
