      Fantastic Japanese Kutani Laughing Hotei Japan Gorgeous Antique Japanese hand painted Kutani Hotei or Laughing Buddha. Hotei is one of the Japanese Seven Gods of Good Fortune, or Shichifukujin. He is the god of contentment and happiness and will sure to bring you much happiness displayed in your home! He stands 8 inches high and is 5 inches wide and 6" deep. He is made of heavy pottery or plaster and is marked on the bottom. There is an incredible attention to detail on the Buddha. It makes one happy to to look at him. It signed on the bottom.

      Thank you everyone for all your help. I am sorry I asked for a value. I did not know this site was just for research. The main problem I see after searching eBay among other sites is the ones I see are fake. The 2 I have are well over 100 years old and have been in my family that I know of for at least 75 years. I just found a plain Buddha on eBay, they were asking big money. I would buy it but I am really afraid of all the fake stuff from china floating around today. Everyone have a wonderful weekend. Thanks again. I will be posting more items that I am not sure of what they are. It would be nice if this site had a Square Payment or some other payment button so we can send the people that help us a little something. I appreciate all your help...! God Bless...
