Well, i purchased these guys the other day at an auction i actually thought they were a matching set or boy & girl. that all changed when i took a closer look at them and found they have two different marks on the bottoms. does anyone know if these is normal or are they from different times? either way they're here now, so i guess they can stay!

I have a pair very very similar to yours. However, the mark is only on one dog, and it says STAFFORDSHIRE WARE, then has a knot with a W and an X inside the knot. Below the knot it says ENGLAND ? wondering the age? value?

Also, the dogs are 5 inches tall, and the collar is a gold color.
