1930s Leather Gladstone type handbag

I found this when clearing my Mams house after her death.I have a very vague recollection of seeing it as a child.It was an engagement gift from my Dad before he left for war. It is in beautiful condition,still has the key but the mirror is gone.Inside it is marked with capital "F" Made in England. I cant find anything about the maker.Does anyone know anything about it? I would be grateful for any info.
