just to share this iraqi postage stamp ,theres not much i know about it but it caught my eye ,and i certainly dont want to get into the political side of its meaning ,it is what it is

Your stamp is Scott catalog #1255 which was issued on September 4, 1986 - After seizing power, it did not take Saddam long to plaster his face on everything, including postage stamps, paper money, and coins - ALL of which he was "paid" a royalty for just for using his image. Just another way of raping the countries finances.
