Chinese Porcelain Statue

I found a pair of porcelain Chinese statues at a thrift store. I bought them because they are unique. They stand 18" tall and are quite intricately painted. I gave this one a quick wipe down but it needs a good cleaning. The other figure is an older bearded fellow wearing a blue dress. I would like to learn something about these.
