    Picked this rocking chair up today at thrift. It's fairly lightweight and good condition. Finish is not original. Trying to determine when it was made. I've seen Victorian parlor rockers that look similar. Any ideas?

      I've heard them called "nursing" and "sewing" rockers. Maybe walnut? Probably 1870's.
