BNSF SD9

This is an Athearn Blue Box BN SD9. All I did to this was weather it a little bit and paint over the logos. Then I added BNSF patch decals and scraped some of the Green paint off underneath the BNSF decal to show a little of the Burlington Northern name. BNSF 6127 was built as CB&Q 325 in March 1954 and renumbered to sometime after the 1970 merger. In the BNSF merger it kept the number 6127 until sometime in 2006 when it was renumbered 1719. In 2008 it was sold to Larry's Truck and Electric. This model is a dummy unit with no motor.
