BNSF SD9

This is another Athearn blue box SD9. This is a powered unit. This was acquired with the other SD9 as an Athearn Special Edition box set. Again all I did to this was weathering and decals. The Real BNSF 6125 was actually repainted Heritage 1 so for now it's not prototypical. The 6125 was built for the Great Northern in May 1958 as their #598. It was retired in the late 2000s with a GN stencil. I think BNSF does this to free up number slots on the roster or something to that effect.
