Hi there, I purchased this at a garage sale, I love the frame! Can anyone tell me anything about the artist or how old it is? Thank you!

The artwork itself is called; "Paesaggio fluviale con viandanti" or in English; "A River Landscape With Travelers" - it is by Vittoio Amedeo Cignaroli (1730-1800), an Italian painter from Torino of landscapes and history who was active during 1778-1793. -- More than likely, a print of one of his original works based on the Firenze (Florence, Italy) framers' label identifying it as a "Cignaroli Landscape"

Thank you very much! The picture is actually on canvas, could it be a print on canvas?

Examine the picture, and see what it appears to be to you, then report back. :)
