Christopher Dresser Silver Plate Crumb Tray and Brush

This is a naturalistic Christopher Dresser designed silver plate crumb tray and brush, made by Hukin and Heath. The brush has similar naturalistic markings on the back with a wooden insert that holds the bristles. The back of the tray is curled to form a handle. Marked with the H&H mark underneath.

For those who are unsure of what a crumb tray is, back in the day when people had servants if anything fell on the table cloth or potentially table carpet, the servant would use the brush and tray to clean up the bits.
