    i was giving this when i went to pick up a few other things from a friend who was cleanning out his basement it looks like old spark plug wire it is tan with red and black strippes

      OR.....It could also be det. cord, for making things go boom! If it is detonation cord, handle and store with care, if you still have it, after all these years.
