This is wonderful gold medallion that I recently got from a gentleman named Simon. The portrait on it is of Rabbi Baba Salim.
Simon got this pendant when he was a young man on a trip to Israel and wearing this medallion was his way of honouring the Rabbi.
Baba Sali Rabbi , Israel Abuhatzeir was known was renowned for his ability of performing miracles through prayer.
He died in 1984.
