Want to repair not sure type or style

this chair has been in the family for a long time. I would love to get it repaired as the Back of the seat has come off the spindle. Any helpful information would be great. All the fabric is original and in great shape I'm just unsure of how to reattach without losing value, The wood work is also in amazing shape with no hard blemishes
