Dad's Cowboy Doll from 1930-1940's (dad born in 1934)
    Good condition
Would love to info about this doll
If it is a cowboy would love to knew if he had a name, where to purchase hat, vest & accessories, if any

Head and boots seem to be plastic/composite

Thinking about restoring for his grandson

    Thank you

Look for a mark on back of neck under kerchief. He is composition but I am wondering about boots are they plastic or rubber ?

      Thank you for your help

I looked under and no markings anywhere

Books are hard so I am assuming they are plastic

often not marked but made in USA doll
here is one close to yours not marked by maker but I would date late 40s

It is very difficult to give name of maker when so many doll companies were producing these types of dolls . He is a heirloom and I am not sure what part you want to restore . Keep in mind he is painted with lead paint .

That's really something to see! The fact that you still have it to pass on down is so amazing. So often, things like this get trashed. Thank you for sharing!!
