    Says Allen in the center, the number 5 on the right hand side. I think it is cast iron. The other side is smooth with only pat pend showing.

      The arrow points right, so follow that & see what's there. LOL!!

      I'd say part of a mould but kind I'm not sure
      I don't think the arrow is to show right side up I think more like a fitting direction but then why put it in one way and then turn it in the other???
      The obvious crest like shape doesn't help me
