I have this older model Huskee 500D air compressor that I cannot find anywhere on the internet. Anybody have an idea of what year they were made, etc. ?

It doesn't look too old. I have not see one like that with the tank on top but that's the way all of the portables should be made. The tank on the bottom makes for a top heavy unit to roll around.
You may be able to get a date off the electric motor.
