From some year in the early 1970's or possibly late 60's.
I assumed it was older...The lady that had it was in her 70's and had received it from her father when he passed. I was given it in 2000. Maybe early 60's could be possible. Thanks
My parents had something like this in the early 1970's ( like 1972 or so..) and same color. These are called:

It is close to a tension Lamp , but I thought tension rods/lamps ,went from floor to ceiling. This does not.

It is so heavy I wonder if it was homemade.
Is there a hole at the top? Just wondering as I know sometimes the tension pole or spring broke and they were just removed. So if there is a hole at the top...it might ??? have had the tension pole. I have seen it also where only one end has a pole....so what is on the other end too>
Also there were some that came in like MAHOGANY planter shelf book shelf unit and would have a lamp in it too...we had one on the farm. See if I can find a pic of what I mean.....so maybe this came from that.....??

Can you show base ? Looks 1960's-70's to me also I have 2 hanging lamps like it .
I have been searching for days for this. My grandma gave this lamp to my mom who then gave it to me. It got knocked over and the globes broke. I can find globes close but this is a perfect match. Would you be willing to part with it?
I have a table lamp with the same style and color glass shade and it has the date 1967 on the bottom. I also had a lamp with a green glass globe with the date 1973 marked on it; it was a cheaper style than the 1967 one (made with plastic and tin).
