Beautiful old chairs

Hi I have two of these old chairs and I'm hoping someone can help me figure out more about them. They were free for the taking from someone here in maine that was moving. So I don't know much about them. They don't look like they were made by a machine. The fabric is nailed in and not stapled. The design carved in the back of the chair is the same on both but you can tell it was done by hand since they are not equal. I don't know if that design was specific to a certain furniture company or not. I posted the bottom of the chair since it had those numbers written on the bottom hoping it would help. But I think they are just beautiful and hope someone can help me figure out more about them. Thank you!
