Harvest Fair Pitcher

I inherited this pitcher from my mother-in-law. I just love it an have it in my kitchen. However I am not having much luck on my research. I am sure it is Majolica pottery but can't locate anything on the maker "M.B.D." I have read a couple of different articles on what circa it may be from but they are light years apart. One was 1970 and the other indicated 19th century. It is 9 1/2" tall, the base o.d. is 5 3/4" and the top i.d. is 3 1/2". Does anyone know of "M.B.D." or what circa this may be?(Sorry about the pictures. I'm not sure what happened. When I viewed them they were upright but then went sideways in posting)
