Hello,and thank you for looking at my photos of some elephants .
We have inherited these 2 lovelies and want to find out a bit more about them .
They are very heavy and I think they are made of stone but don't feel like stone ?possible a resin of some sort or maybe a wood of some type?
They are carved precisely and quite ornate and show quality craftsmanship.
We are not sure if they are Indian or Afican.
The bull is in musk ?you can tell it's a bull.!
Never seen ornaments like these before.
On the bull elephant there is a makers mark as follows MUTISO on left front leg.
If any one know anything about these your help would be most appreciated.
