Hi everyone, I'm trying to identify some puppets I found in my late mother's house. She lived in Germany for many years, so they may possibly be German.
I don't know the age, but I know she had them for a long time.
The faces have a soft feel to them, and are obviously hand painted. There are no labels of any sort.
The heads are hollow and hard inside.
The eyes have small black beads.
Any information would be gratefully received.

They look like vintage Kersa puppets to me. Strange that none of them are marked.

It doesn't look like a Kersa puppet to me. There is usually a metal tag on the puppet's lower left side or 4 small holes where it use to be. The puppet also does not have thumbs like the vintage Kersa puppets. The new Kersa puppets made currently don't have thumbs but they look very different and have a sewn in fabric tag. Also I am assuming that this is the Woodsman (To go with Little Red Riding Hood) and if so he looks nothing like the Kersa Woodsman. Sorry I don't know who made this one but if you are the same person who has a few up on ebay the other ones you have list are probably a KUNSTLER HAND PUPPET.
