Thanks for the information. Is there anyway to determine age? I've seen similar but none with the what I assume are Chinese symbols?
Put 'Sakyamuni Buddha' in a couple of search engines, Google, Bing. There are many images and you may find a hint somewhere.

wexval I must have looked at a thousand Sakyamuni Buddhas getting myself some education. Didn't find any with similar markings. But did see a lot of beautiful art. Thanks again.
