Midget 1 cent cigarette vending machine

This is one of my favorite toys. So much so that even though I don't smoke I bought a pack and tried to fill this machine. It was interesting to find modern cigarettes too long for it. I guess perhaps non filter cigarettes were used. It is depression era I believe 30s and it's in amazing condition. A few chips in the paint are all I have seen. Original keys and even original mounting screws.

This is the only one I've seen by midget vending. An identical machine with a different count receptacle was manufactured by American merchandise corp. I've seen a couple examples of it but none of this one.
