divine black and beige velvet ladylike handbag, circa 1950s by Beghe Creation , made in Italy. black leather interior.. lots of 'sneaky' pockets.. see photo #3.. i purchased this gorgeous handbag from a lady in the Hunter Valley, NSW Australia.. i accidentally came across her home whilst on a tour of the vineyards.. she had some amazing heavily beaded and decorated evening dresses which i also purchased from her. I particularly loved this bag because of the almost hidden 'flower' embossed into the velvet on the front which is only visible in certain lights
