WW2 medal. Can you identify it?

This belonged to my uncle who served in the Navy WW2 . Was a radioman.
This was found in his belongings.

The small "radioactive " looking symbol in the top area is curious.
It has on the face: USN and 1137.
It is made of a brown metal. Nothing on the back.

Does anyone know the details ?

Not a medal.

Looks to be some sort of equipment tag.
