I have no idea what, exactly, this is, other than knowing it's an IPC Simplex theater projector! Pretty neat thing, I think. Since I am new here, and I hope this is the proper forum, I was wondering if anyone could help me figure this thing out? I'm sure it's missing some parts, I would love to restore it and have it as a show piece in my den.
Does it have an patent numbers anywhere on it? If so, you can then use Google patents to determine what you have. Go to google...<click>more, then <click>even more...go down left column to patent search. I would recommend inserting the patent number, and if no hit, try using the word patent and the number. It is a database of patents, so you shouldn't have to put the word patent, but that is how I got my hit.
