    I obtained four chairs that I'm trying to identify. I have send loads of time looking at the internet however I am unable to locate a chair that has a high back with five slats and also slate seating. Anyone have any ideas?

      Marysia, from what I can see you ladder back has some Shaker influence in it's high back and clean line... The slat seat was done after the 20th century as a more durable alternative to the cane or rush seat they traditionally would have been made with.
