      The mark shown is very often mis-identified based on the fact that Ackermann & Fritze and Ernst Bohne from Rudolstadt-Volkstedt (Thuringia) used similar marks.

      Both attributions are incorrect, the user of this mark (introduced around 1955) was the short-lived and lesser known decoration business and glass/porcelain shop of Franz Witter from the town of Brühl in North-Rhine Westphalia
