I am trying to figure out what this is. Below each hole on top is the days of the week. Not sure if it was for medicines, or some type of canning device to mark the days.. If anyone know, I would greatly appreciate the help.

Smoking, pipe rack, for those who used a pipe
We thought pipe rack also...but why would it have the days of the week stamped by each hole?
Marketing ploy: could sell more pipes that way. I sure that this is a pipe rack, have one similar, but no days of the week. A round one with days sold on Ebay, you can Google it under "pipe rack days of week"

I will back up both of them, my dad smoked a pipe at home but cigaretes (SP) at work....
