I have had this beautiful gold scalloped dish for many, many decades. It appears to have the letter "S" on the bottom. Unfortunately, I don't know what that stands for. This dish is 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" and shines so beautifully. A great addition to any curio cabinet.

image too small to make out any details you might try a google image search for: Smith Glass mark and see if there's a match. The design is considered ruffled rather than scalloped, and the dish typically called a compote.
