Looking for info on this piece. It was my grandmothers from when she was a kid. No markings on the figurine to tell me who or what makes this special. Hoping someone can help me with that info

It's pretty unlikely that you will get any information about this cute doggie. There are similar ones on the web which were made in Japan or Germany. Since it belonged to your grandma when she was a child, you can at least date it back that far.
