Exercycle

Vintage 1950s Exercycle by Westinghouse. In surprisingly excellent condition. Has the leather seat and the handle on the resistance mechanism is wood, both of which date it to the '50s. These things are very hard to find, especially in good condition, much less this good and working perfectly. An almost identical Exercycle was featured in the popular 1950s "Total Electric Home" catalogue. The best part? A guy gave it to me for free. He called me one day and said he "just didn't have room for antiques." It does take up a lot of room, but I was afraid if I didn't take it he would take it to a dumpster somewhere, and I couldn't bear the thought.
