Liberty Chair Company Dining Chair

I recently cleaned out my storage building which I had stuck these in when my grandmother gave them to me. They belonged to her father whose Mother gave them to him when he married. I have searched google and just come up with a history for the company. I am planning on reconditioning the seats and just cleaning the backs. I am thinking about sand stripping them and re finishing them but I am not sure what kind of wood they are. Funny thing is when I placed them in storage I did not even notice the leather backs. My grandmother never used them, we moved them into my storage when she sold her house and we had to clean out her storage building. It was kind of funny because the bottoms were cloth and when I was looking for a tag I noticed leather underneath. I ask her about it and she said the leather was too cold for her dad so her mother tacked cloth over the leather seats which actually kept them in nice order. I would just like to know more about these if anyone happens to be familiar with them. What kind of wood do you think it is made of? They will be a nice hand me down to my son or daughter when they get older. Cheers
