I have a 1982 original soft sculpture cabbage patch doll with original birth certificate,adoptions papers,collectors edition volume one "cabbage patch dispatch" magazine, an invitation to the Real People show hosting the cabbage patch birthday party, the original bag from babyland and the original name tag. The tag on the baby shows that she was one of the originals prior to the sell to other companies.
I remember when they came out and people would fight for them in stores at Christmas , Nice you have kept yours :-)
