New to this website. I need help identifying my latest find. I can not find any thing any where online about it. It looks like a drafting board but as you can see it isn't. It has The Lufkin Rule Co. on it. It doesn't have a base. The overall dimensions are 37" x 54". I love it. It is driving me nuts not knowing the history!! Can some one help me ?!!

I'm guessing that the tag reads "The Perfection Glass Board." Therefore it is a table for cutting down large sheets of glass to whatever size needed. The sliding bar provides a square guide for the glass cutting tool.

This is a glass cutting board as Uncle Ron mentioned. We used it in our business for many years. We have one in better shape, but no longer in use. I learned how to cut glass on it many moons ago.
