Approx. 6" and brass is about all I know about it. It's very ornate and easy to look at too. The individual whom I got it from said it was Masonic but my untrained eyes don't see it.

    Unsolved Mystery

      Anything on the back?

It's a beautifully designed ashtray, but I don't see anything remotely Masonic about the design. The eagle seen on Masonic items is a double headed eagle. Ask this individual why they think it's Masonic. No other images of this ashtray came up in a Google Image search.

Unfortunately I lost the contact info of the previous owner. He was a little..."off" imo but I was going to purchase it in any case lol. And I didnt take a pic of the back/bottom for that reason, there was absolutely nothing. I did have a thorough look at and what I seen was the circular lines from it being spun i assume? And a small dent/divet was dead center im guessing from the spinning process. No makers mark of any kind there....and thus far nothing on the front/top...apologies on such a dark picture too, my photography prowess is lacking. I do appreciate the comments and if theres something more I can offer that I havent, please let me know, I am newer to alot of this.
