Would love to know what this is ?

I purchased this framed bird carving about 8 years ago from a second hand store because it's uniqueness caught my eye. It's in what looks like a custom frame sizing about 45cm x 30cm
It has no markings or writing on it. If anyone could tell me what this is and it's worth if any?
