    One of my latest purchases.
Throughout most of the twentieth century generations of Australian school children carried fibre school bags to school. The most famous case was the "Globite" made in Sydney by Ford Sherington & Co. of Waterloo in Sydney. These were certainly very sturdy, being made of vulcanised rather than composite fibre, and much more expensive than most other school bags.

We certainly did!! It is a wonder we don't all have one arm longer than the other as well with the amount of text books we had to carry in them lol.
And of course the polishing of the case with Kiwi boot polish to keep it looking nice too!!
I do actually have one of these .....I keep old photos in it at the moment!!

TassieDevil this one is for my daughter who likes to cosplay. It is similar to one that is used by a character in the movie "Fantastic Beasts"
