Looking for the company that made this bear

I am looking for the company that made this bear. I was given the bear in 1987 at hospital of Southern Maryland. His nose was either dark brown or black but it was hard plastic button like. He stands anywhere from 15-17 inches tall. Over the years he has suffered a great deal, he was shared between two kids. I had to unstuff him to wash him and the stuffing that was inside was a hard foam stuffing that looked yellow. That could have been from age though. His tag was on the bottom side of him but that has since fallen off.
